Dad surprises Son at school after being in Afghanistan Video
Nov 10th, 2010 - Nate/J.R. is a Seabee in the US Navy. He was gone for over 14 months, he came home and was suppose to be home for awhile. But J.R. was sent out early, so he was only home for 6 months and then left to Afghanistan for 8 months. I, his wife Carrie, picked him up from the plane and took him straight to the boy's school. The boys thought he was flying in on the 13th so they had no idea. Unfortunately we weren't able to video tape our younger sons surprise but we did get our oldest sons reaction. Cody had no clue. He didnt even recognize his dad. He left bald, but came home with a lot of hair, this was the 1st time any of us had seen him with hair, so needless to say Cody was confused for a few reasons.... and for some reason, our youngest, CJ kept saying he looked like John McCain... strange kid I tell ya....
